Maiden Star was founded in 2008 by Carolyn Penney.

All jewellery and accessories sold by Maiden Star are handmade by Carolyn Penney.

Carolyn uses high quality Japanese and Czech glass seed beads, Swarovski crystals, precious and semi-precious stones.

New products are being developed all the time. Currently, Carolyn is working on a line of floral pieces, and improving her techniques for working in fine and sterling silver. On the horizon are art pieces uses scale maille techniques, and ever more complex beadwork.

Carolyn believes strongly in giving back to the community, and is a frequent contributor to local charity auctions, including the Friends of the National Art Centre Orchestra and The Snowflake Ball.
